Our client is POLARIS, an American manufacturer of off-road vehicles (ORV), motorcycles, snowmobiles and neighbourhood electric vehicles. We are looking for their new ORV Marketing Specialist - Germany & Austria (fixed-term contract of 12 months for a moment), job based in Griesheim (30 km from Frankfurt).

Poste

Implement both EMEA and local marketing strategies for Polaris within Germany & Austria. Products include a full range of Polaris Off-Road Vehicles (ORV's) including ATV and Side-by-Side (SxS) variants. Partner with the EMEA marketing team, Regional, National & District Sales Managers and local agencies on strategy formulation and campaign development, to ensure consistent and flawless execution throughout the region. Meet and exceed objectives for the Polaris business in profitability, growth, market share and quality by developing and implementing best in class marketing strategies, campaigns, materials, and retail initiatives for Germany & Austria. This position will work as a key conduit between the local agencies, Germany/Austria Sales team and the EMEA. The role will primarily be focused on PR, Communication, Media, Strategy, Events & Support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Build and execute a clear marketing strategy for Polaris in Germany & Austria in line with EMEA objectives.
- Develop and monitor annual marketing budget for all Polaris marketing activities in Germany & Austria.
- Oversee advertising and promotional programs including traditional advertising, website/social/digital, and strategic partnerships that are impactful and cost effective.
- Develop marketing messaging to different customer groups including B2B and B2C target groups.
- Organize and participate in shows and events across the UK and Ireland.
- Responsible for flawless execution of new models/model year introduction, in coordination with various departments/stakeholders.
- Lead marketing initiatives and actively contribute to market share expansion in all Polaris Product segments.
- Support dealers on the new Web Portal and implement successfully Leads management follow-up process.
- Work as an integral team member of Germany & Austria, Central European and EMEA to explore best marketing practices.
- Perform timely reporting and analysis on competitive activity, new markets and trends.
- Support Regional Director & EMEA with insights and thoughts around improvement areas.
Attend and participate in relevant Polaris meetings (Marketing, Management & Sales etc….).

Profil

- University Degree in Marketing or Business required. Masters' Degree in Marketing or MBA preferred.
- 5+ Years of work experience in a functional marketing position
- Fluent in English & German
- Proven track record of developing marketing strategies and managing agencies to get results
- Solid experience in both B2B and B2C marketing
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Good knowledge of interactive/social/digital media marketing
- Proven experience managing local budget
- Direct experience working with an international / American company
- Experience in FMCG marketing is a big plus
- Flexibility and willingness to get "hands-on"
- Demonstrated track record of success and achievement
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Strong team player
